impregnation is a colourless liquid based on siloxane resins, containing a solvent, characterized by a high impregnation capacity for all absorbent mineral materials used in construction. After being applied to the absorbent surface, the impregnation penetrates deeply into the substrate and reacts with moisture, which causes hydrophobization of pores and capillaries. Thanks to these properties, without changing the appearance of the surface, the hydrophobic impregnation effectively protects against the effects of aggressive weather conditions, which could penetrate into the material together with water. The impregnation is highly resistant to UV radiation. The impregnation with the preparation is insufficient as waterproofing of • horizontal surfaces (terraces, balconies); • underground levels • water tanks; • gypsum surfaces, • synthetic plasters and surfaces painted with synthetic paints. Before starting work with preparation, tests should be made to determine its impact on the possible change in the colour of natural stone, coloured plaster or other types of substrates characterized by heterogeneous absorbency.
CONSUMPTION: depends on the absorbency of the substrate. Estimated for Concrete products : 0.15 - 0.30 kg per sq/m.
